United or Divided

Behold,

how good

and how pleasant

it is for brethren

to dwell together in unity!

It is like

the precious ointment

upon the head,

that ran down upon the beard,

even Aaron's beard:

that went down

to the skirts of his garments;

as the dew of Hermon,

and as the dew

that descended

upon the mountains of Zion:

for there the Lord

commanded the blessing,

even life for evermore.

how ugly

and painful to watch

when brothers are divided.

It is like egg on the face

...rotten eggs!

on the one that preaches the gospel;

falling down

onto their “Sunday best”

in globs,

all the way to their shoes;

yes, even like

the worldly establishment

lobbing rotten tomatoes

at the whole church;

for there

the Lord

has pronounced a curse

--the curse of death!
