Positive & Encouraging

We need to throw out the substitute Christianity that insists on being only positive and encouraging, and embrace the balanced orthodoxy of good and evil, flesh vs. Spirit, heaven or hell. To have that warm, comfortable, positive atmosphere, we have had to ignore things that pose a great danger to the Body of Christ. We need to wake up to see that evil we don’t talk about, will eventually cause far more damage than any feared fallout from disclosure. Silence is a darkness where sin will hide —and multiply!

Healthy is not merely an attitude. It is an actual condition, a reality that is achieved and maintained through proactively minimizing or eliminating threats to health, like contagions and accident hazards. When pursuing a healthy church, there must be a proactive search and destroy campaign against lies, hypocrisy, pride and anything that is antithetical to our allegiance to Christ. This is difficult and painful, but the results will be
